ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT

Tony Sarillo is founder and President of Sarillo Development LLC.  Over the past decade he has completed numerous construction and real estate development projects in a wide variety of industries, including office, light industrial, retail, and multifamily residential, with a special niche in the hospitality industry.  Tony is also a partner and manager of several properties that include multi-tenant office/industrial and two restaurants in the Chicago suburbs.  This experience provides a unique 360 degree view of the real estate world that few have experienced.

Tony began his career in construction as a carpenter in 1984, moving on to start a home building business with his brother in 1986.  Over the following decade that company grew in size and scope, ultimately developing several small commercial projects in addition to spec and custom homes.  He left that firm in the care of his father in 1998 to attend the University of Illinois.  There he obtained Masters of Architecture and Masters of Business degrees.  Under their study abroad program he was able to complete one year at Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles as well.

He returned to business ownership with Sarillo Development in 2003 after working two years with a high-rise office development firm in Chicago.  Tony is currently a licensed architect and a licensed general contractor in Chicago.
